I have been extremely negligent maintaining this site as I have been caught up in the instant gratification of Facebook. That will end after the election and I will get back to this site and, hopefully, chronicle Lan's experiences and impressions of America. One thing is for sure; she sees a wonderful place, full of opportunity that we seem to take for granted or just fail to see the wonders around us.My recent trips back to Viet Nam changed my outlook on life, big time.
I invite you to share my experiences and observations as well as the occassional rant.
My last trip was for 6 months and started on November 26, 2011. I returned to the USA on May 25, 2012, alone. Happily, Lan will join me shortly as her treatment at Cho Ray Hospital was completed and she has a clean bill of health. Her VISA is approved and she should receive it on July 1 and fly here on July 10. I''ll let ya know what shakes out.
